A special Winter Solstice Women’s Circle in the Woods

Our beautiful winter solstice circle is back again this year, and I’m so excited to sit with you in this magical space, marking the darkest part of the year, honoring the depths of winter, and holding ourselves in that sacred pause before Christmas and the return of the light.

This will be a wonderful gathering of women at a very special time of the year. Walking through the woods at dusk, the way lit by lanterns, we’ll circle in the darkness around the central fire, learning to light it with steel and flint, collectively bringing light and warmth to the darkest of nights.

We’ll sit together in circle, drinking healing tea around our fire, with a grounding exercise to connect us to the earth and these ancient woods, listening to the sounds of the night, learning the history of this sacred solstice time, and reflecting on the returning light in the dark, the hope that comes at the darkest of times.

We’ll share stories and myths and magic from the midwinter season, setting our intentions with a ritual for the coming year and a chance to gather with other women, as our ancestors have done for centuries.

Spaces will be limited to 12 women to protect the intimate soulful integrity of this solstice space.
